No, and it does not replace it. We require every student to hold current pediatric CPR and First Aid certification from the American Heart Association or the Red Cross — hands-on practice is part of how that skill becomes automatic. Unit 3 reinforces and contextualizes it.

Is $799 worth it?

Here's the arithmetic I'd want if I were deciding. A nanny raise of one dollar an hour, on a forty-hour week, is roughly two thousand dollars a year. Unit 8 exists to make that conversation something you can actually have — with a rate benchmarked to your region, a work agreement you've read clause by clause, and the specific words to say when the answer is “let me think about it.” That's the whole case.
